Twelve years of homeschooling - twelve years of praying for it. But, often my prayers felt insignificant, like they were just letters strung together into words that had little meaning.

I knew in my head I could, and even should, pray about everything, but I didn't. I prayed for patience a lot, but didn't pray about the very issues that required patience of me.
Don't let this be you. It has taken me a long time to learn how to pray very specifically for each child, subject, concern, question, and problem. Since I began, though, I have experienced more peace, more delight, more fun, and yes, even more patience.
By praying as the Bible tells us to, I am learning what real rest, hope, and trust in God can be. I hope these prayers inspire you to give your heart and home school over to the One who loves you best and who wants to see your home school be a place of thriving, magnificent life.
